Nomination for IAN Elections 2024 can be filled up, from Thursday September 12, 2024, 8 AM to Thursday, September 19, 2024, 5 PM, India Time, as follows:
Go to IAN website www.ianindia.org. On the home page, at the bottom right side, in the Quick Link section there is a link for IAN Elections 2024. Click on that link
You will be redirected to our secure online election platform. IAN logo will appear on top
You will have to login with the following credentials:
Your registered Email id OR Mobile number
Your LM number (only number, without Zero at the beginning)
Click on Submit
You will receive an OTP on your mobile by SMS as well as by email
Please enter this 4 digit OTP
You will be able to login and see the Nomination Form
Select the position that wish to apply for ( President Elect )
Enter your brief profile (upto 100 characters). This will be visible only to the Electoral Officer.
Upload your detailed CV (in PDF format only, of file size upto 2 MB). This will be visible to all voters.
Upload your photograph (in JPG, JPEG or PNG format, file size upto 2 MB)
Depending upon the position you wish to contest for, you are required to enter respective details.
You will need to provide a Proposer and Seconder for your nomination. These should be IAN Life Members. They should approve your nomination before the end of nomination period. You will need to enter their IAN Life Membership Number (Please add only Membership Number (only number, without Zero at the beginning)) . Email id of the said member will be displayed. An email will be sent to both the proposer and seconder. (Kindly check with them in advance, that their emails are in IAN records. If their emails are not in IAN records, you will not be allowed to submit your application).
Then click SUBMIT
A message will be displayed that your nomination has been successfully submitted.
Important to note that your Proposer AND Seconder are required to approve your nomination BEFORE Thursday, September 19, 2024, 5 PM India Time
Nomination Withdrawal
You can withdraw your nomination, between Monday, September 23, 2024, 8 AM and Monday, September 30, 2024, 5 PM India Time
You can go to the IAN website. Using the same link login.
You will receive an OTP on your mobile by SMS as well as by email
Please enter this 4 digit OTP
Your will see your nomination.
There will be an option to Withdraw. Click on that.
A message will be displayed that your nomination has been withdrawn.
Proposers and Seconders (to approve by Thursday, September 19, 2024, 5 PM India Time)
IAN Life Members who have been mentioned as Proposer and Seconder will receive an email with a link.
On clicking the link, you will be directed to a page where you will see name of the IAN member and the position for which the member has submitted nomination.
To approve the candidature, click on APPROVE option.
You will receive an OTP on your mobile by SMS as well as by email
Please enter this 4 digit OTP and click on Submit
A message will be displayed that your support for candidature has been successfully submitted.
Check Nomination Status
Go to IAN website
Click on Nomination Link
Login, as per procedure mentioned in Nomination section
You will see a message You have already submitted your nomination for this election.
On the right top corner, there is an option to View Details. Click on that.
You will see status of your nomination (approved / rejected) by
Proposer
Seconder
Electoral Officer
To check that your email id and mobile number are updated in IAN records, please do the following:
Login to your account on IAN website using
Your LM number
Your Email OR Mobile number
Important to note that, updating your email id and mobile number is permitted only upto 30 September 2024 .
